Support For Brother Nick Jessen, Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Brother Nick Jessen of Local 1828 South County Union Fire Fighters, who has dedicated the last 22 years to serving others through EMS and fire service, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, with metastases to his spine and brain.

Nick is 38 years old and currently lives in Puyallup with his girlfriend Katie Clark and their two dogs, Oliver and Penny. Nick started his career in Fire Service in 2003 at North County Fire in Arlington, WA at only 17 years old, while still attending High School. In 2006, Nick attended WSU to study Biology and Premed and during that time he worked for District 12 in Pullman. After graduating from WSU, Nick attended Paramedic school at CBC in Richland and went on to work for AMR Spokane, Medstar Flight Tri Cities, Skagit Medic One, Anacortes Fire, Island Air, Everett Fire, and now currently works for South County Fire and AMR Lewis County.
