"Cares Enough to Wear Pink"
Per Resolution 10-12, the WSCFF encourages all of its members to participate in the “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” campaign to help raise funds and awareness for all women who are battling cancer. It is important that we as fire fighters join together and help lead the way in portraying an image of hope, strength, and courage to those women who worry about being alone in their battle for life. The WSCFF encourages all member locals to coordinate with their fire departments for permission to wear pink duty shirts for the “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” campaign October 25-28, 2010. You may want to work with your employer to use the provider of duty shirts to produce shirts with your department logo. Or, to purchase signature “Pink Heals” shirts, go to www.pinkheals.com.
